More detailed explanation regarding the exchange of information on the opening of a credit institution of a Member State in Latvia or notification by a credit institution of a Member State of taking-up the provision of financial services in Latvia without the opening of a branch and the assessment of the acquisition of a qualifying holding.

  • Notification of the opening of a branch of a Member State credit institution in Latvia or notification of the commencement of provision of financial services in Latvia by a Member State credit institution without opening a branch shall be submitted in Latvian or English.
  • The mailing address for receipt of notifications of the opening of a branch of a Member State credit institution in Latvia or notifications of the commencement of provision of financial services in Latvia by a Member State credit institution without opening a branch is: K.   • The emails address for notifications of the opening of a branch of a Member State credit institution in Latvia is: info@bank.lv.
  • The emails address for notifications of the commencement of provision of financial services in Latvia by a Member State credit institution without opening a branch is: single.passport@bank.lv.
  • Any changes to the notifications of the opening of a branch of a Member State credit institution in Latvia or notification of the commencement of provision of financial services in Latvia by a Member State credit institution without opening a branch shall be submitted via the same means of communication by which the initial notification was sent.
