Credit Register data can be obtained by:

    • customer and customer's guarantor – any natural and legal persons are entitled to receive the Credit Register data pertaining to them, except the data on the supervision of financial market participants and macroeconomic analysis. This service is free of charge;
    • Credit Register participant – on:
      • its customers and customers' guarantors,
      • potential customers and customers' guarantors,
      • person who has a qualifying holding in a commercial company that is the above Credit Register participant's customer, customer's guarantor, potential customer or potential customer's guarantor,
      • person who is the beneficial owner of the above Credit Register participant's customer, customer's guarantor, potential customer or potential customer's guarantor,
      • commercial company that is a subsidiary of the above Credit Register participant's customer, customer's guarantor, potential customer or potential customer's guarantor, and each subsequent subsidiary of the above subsidiary,
      • commercial company where the above Credit Register participant's customer, customer's guarantor, potential customer or potential customer's guarantor has a qualifying holding,
      • member of the Council (if established) and the Board of the above Credit Register participant's customer, customer's guarantor, potential customer or potential customer's guarantor.
    • restricted Credit Register participant – on its customers and customers' guarantors;
    • consumer's creditor – on a natural person, subject to the relevant natural person's consent;
    • for performing the tasks stipulated by laws and regulations:
      • the Bank of Latvia,
      • the Financial and Capital Market Commission,
      • the European Central Bank,
      • the State Revenue Service,
      • court,
      • pre-trial investigation institution and Prosecutor's Office,
      • subject of investigatory operations,
      • Financial Intelligence Unit of Latvia,
      • the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau,
      • administrator of insolvency proceedings where the customer or customer's guarantor is a natural person.

Pursuant to the "Law On Credit Register", the Bank of Latvia stipulates the scope of the Credit Register data to be issued.
