Statistical data on alternative investment funds to be reported less frequently

On 17 July 2020, the European Central Bank adopted Decision ECB/2020/33, whereby Latvian alternative investment funds are included in the list of those categories of investment funds to which the national central banks have the discretion to grant derogations in accordance with Article 8 (2) of Regulation (EU) No 1073/2013 of the European Central Bank of 18 October 2013 concerning statistics on the assets and liabilities of investment funds (ECB/2013/38). As a result, alternative investment fund managers may report statistical data in accordance with the said regulation on an annual basis.
